Half Life Alyx Cheats & Console Commands

Half-Life: Alyx: What we know about Valve's upcoming full-length VR game | Ars Technica

It’s been 16 years since Half-Life 2’s original release, but Half-Life: Alyx still has the same Valve DNA. You’re still going to be able to open a Source Engine console and enter those old codes from past, most of the codes are working! But a few of them require a bit of changing.

You’ll need to input a special launch parameter in your Steam Library, then open the console and unlock cheats with another command. Unlocking the cheat console is similar to how it’s always been done. It’s actually very simple once you learn how it all works, and gives you access to cheats that give god-like invincibility, unlimited ammo, full upgrades and more.

Half Life Alyx Cheats – How to Enable the Console

You have to enable the console before launching the game, while the game is closed, just follow this steps:

0- Make sure Half Life Alyx is closed

1- Steam Library > Right Click on Half Life Alyx > choose Properties

2 – General Tab > Select Set Launch Options

3- Enter -console -vconsole and press OK

How To use the Cheats

Once the console is enabled:

1- Launch the game and press “~” (to the left of the “1” on your keyboard) to open the console while playing

2- Type the console command you want in the Command Field and press enter to activate the cheat. The command Field is the last one, after the filter field and the search field
